Hi, I have downloaded and installed the Adobe Photoshop CS2 30 free trial from www.adobe.com and the 30 days has been used up. Is there someway that I can uninstall photoshop and re-download and install it to use it again for 30 days? I have tried this, but photoshop must have installed some files in my computer that tells it that I have used the 30 days trial already. What do I have to delete in order to re-use the trial? Thanks Jamesino
Adobe's printed documentation includes instructions to re-install Photoshop. The following link will take you to that documentation: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/psd/cs3/WS/WSAG6A9E1C585ABCDE46A4B4C2215C101D1685.html .
With Adobe Photoshop installed on your computer, create a new folder somewhere on your computer. (You can name the folder anything you want, just be sure it's not named anything that already exists on your computer.)
The first thing to do is to download Photoshop to your computer. If you have the Creative Suite, you will also need to download a component of the Suite. To get the trial version, you will download the Photoshop CD.
There is no need to uninstall Photoshop or any other software in order to use the 30-day trial period. If it will give you the option to continue using the trial, do so. At the end of the trial, the software will ask whether you wish to purchase it. If not, you are given the option to begin a new trial period. The trial period will continue until you cancel it.
I ended up following the advice in my previous post, but it is not working. Now when I run photoshop it goes through a brief loading phase, and when it loads it says it cannot find the file photoshop.psd.
After reading this, I installed a trial version of InDesign CS2. I'm now wondering if there is a way to uninstall the trial version, and install the full version without me needing to buy a license for it? Can I delete any files or registry keys or something? --Jim Rickards (talk) 19:39, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Some applications, such as Java, require that the application directories and libraries are updated to a newer version before the user can update. However, there are some applications that are not explicitly API-specific, such as the X Window System, the X server source code, are automatically updated as required.
